Porcini mushrooms come from the Boletus Family and are a culinary delicacy. They are notoriously difficult to cultivate therefore it is necessary to wait for the right climatic conditions before going searching for them in the woods ! Spread on toasted bread this aromatic pesto makes a glorious alternative to the classical Italia bruschetta made with chopped tomatoes. But not to use it as a condiment on pasta or in a risotto would be a crime.
Ingredients: Pleurotus mushrooms (pleurotus ostreatus), porcini mushrooms (boletus edulis) 30%, sunflower seed oil, onion 7%, salt, parsley, vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, black pepper, acidity corrector: citric acid.
