The almond is the seed of the almond tree and is recognized as a typical Sicilian product. Like all nuts, almonds have a high caloric value (500-600kcal / 100g) because it is rich in fatty acids, predominantly monounsaturated acids (noble fats), they are also rich in vitamins (especially E), minerals (magnesium, calcium, manganese) and have a high content of protein.
