Soft Nougat with Almonds & candied Orange 140g

Description

Traditional at Christmas Time but present at any Sicilian festival there are many festivals and just as many versions of Nougat which can be sweet and chewy or crunchy depending on how long it is cooked. It is made of egg whites, honey and sugar and filled with almonds, walnuts, peanuts, hazelnuts and pistachios and can be aromatized with orange peel. Very sweet but very good!

Ingredients: ALMOND 38% sugar, honey, candied orange (orange peel 49%, glucose-fructose syrup, sucrose, acidity regulator: citric acid E330, preservatives: potassium sorbate E202, SULFUR DIOXIDE E220 (as residue)) EGG white, potato starch, flavoring. May contain SOY, other NUTS and CEREALS containing GLUTEN.
